Fraud Text Alerts

Your security is our top priority. That’s why we’re offering fraud text alerts¹ for Associated Bank debit cardholders. It’s easy for you too! You’re automatically enrolled, and the service is free.

If suspicious activity is detected on your account, here’s what will happen, and how you can take control:

  • We’ll send an alert to your mobile device.
  • If you don’t recognize the transaction, lock your debit card using Debit Card Controls in Associated Bank Digital.²  
  • Connect with Customer Care. We’ll help you review recent transactions and suggest additional steps to keep your account secure.

Fraud text alerts are free for debit card customers with a current mobile phone number on file with service through AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon.

Optional Custom Alerts

You can set up customized text and e-mail notifications for specific transaction types and dollar amounts, including:

Purchases over a selected amount

International purchases

Online and phone purchases where the card is not physically present

Declined transactions

  1. Fraud Text Alerts are available to Associated Bank debit cardholders who have mobile service through a participating carrier and have their mobile phone number on file with Associated Bank. Participating carriers include AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. Additional carriers may be added over time. Associated Bank does not charge a fee to send debit card Fraud Text Alerts.
